As a serviced, we believe that pupil health and wellbeing is of upmost importance, particularly in these challenging times. Schools have a statutory duty to provide lessons about relationships, mental and physical health, bullying and other health-related and safety issues. Schools provide this health and wellbeing education as part of their curriculum and to understand what their pupils need in this respect.
The survey is anonymous, so we will not be able to trace individual pupils, and the results will come back to us as whole year group data. Questions will be included on areas such as Physical Activity, Nutrition, Feelings, Hygiene, Habits, Friendships/Relationships, Bullying, Safeguarding, Smoking/Alcohol/Drugs and Emotional Health/Wellbeing. There will also be questions relating to the education pupils receive in these areas, which will allow us to assess if we need to be providing more help and information to keep our pupils healthy and safe.
The survey is age-appropriate and we will only be asking students questions that are appropriate for their year group in line with the curriculum we are expected to teach. Schools are also able to look through an extensive bank of questions, and decide which questions they'd like to include, and any questions they'd like to add.
Following the completion of the survey, a copy of the results will be sent direct to your headteacher with an in-depth look at the results for schools to share how they see fit. For more information (including prices) on this opportunity, please get in touch.
